Cats find a new one to start a game poorly, as Tre Johnson dunks in pre-game warmups, giving EWU 2 foul shots before the game starts.
Cats down 10-5 early.

That's wierd. Back in the sixties with the Big 32 in Montana we had a guy dunking the ball in warm-ups and there weren't any Technical Fouls called. And that was when it wasn't legal to do it in a game, even.

The score is 58-54 Bobcats with 11.2 seconds left. They've made a nice comeback in the second half.

Holy Crap! Cats win! The final score is 60-56.
Jeff Lasky seemed to say that a win at Portland State on Saturday could lock up a tournament berth. It's great to see that long losing streak put into the history books!

A much needed win, the cats fought hard in the second half to pull off a victory.

Finally!
Clutch FT shooting down the stretch by none other than ... Bobby Howard? Increible. 8-12 from the line for the game.
Monkey off the back. 3 game winning streak going into the tourney would be nice.
McCall had a good game! Career high 12 points! 29 bench points in this game, 11 points for Cody.

Wow, great win on the road for the Cats. Chris McCall scores a career high in double figures. I hope he gets more playing time. He seems to play with a ton of confidence. Looks like we will make the tournament after all, with Sac and ISU both loosing this week so far.

Went to the game tonight just got home. WOW hey there are a lot of you upset on this board but Huse did a great job tonight he has not given up he is battling hard and Bobby Howard there was no way he was going to let his team lose tonight. Was not a great shooting night for him but he still wanted the ball down the stretch and you could see that he was going to make those free throws. I was happy for the entire team they ran off that court floating on air they seemed to look happy for the first time in a long time. Good job Cats and enjoy this win and go get the vikings!

Good, solid road win for the Cats! They've got to be pumped. Now a tough one at PSU; they give the Griz a really good game last night. But I still believe we can finish the season with three wins and grab a little MO before heading into the tourney.

Congrats to Coach Huse and the entire team. I've been as critical of him and this year's MBB team as anyone, but you've got to give them a ton of credit for battling back to win this game, and for not giving up on the season. With PSU being ineligble, this win should pretty much clinch a spot in the tourney. I don't know about beating PSU on the road, but I now feel better about them at least beating ISU at home, which would get them to 7-9 and in the tourney for sure. It's only one win, and it certainly doesn't get Huse off the hook IMHO, but I'll bet that one win felt awfully good to the coaching staff and the players.

i agree. sure, it was just eastern. but the fact remains that it was a road win, and at this point in our season, with the slide we are on any win is a good win. at least now they have that feeling of what its like to win again. congrats to the team on gutting one out and doing what was necessary to pull out the win. here's hoping for 2 straight!

And it returns the favor from last season, when EWU swept MSU.
