Be sure to come out and cheer on graduating seniors Danny Piepoli, Erik Rush and Bobby Howard when the Bobcats host Idaho State TOMORROW @ 7pm. These 3 young men have had great careers as Bobcats and are being recognized for their efforts prior to tip-off.

Agreed. Even though this season has driven me nuts, I feel it is necessary to come out to the game and support Erik, Danny and Bobby.

Go Cats!

Cats with a huge run to start the half. Up 69-44, under 9:00 to go.

And the rout is on...MSU leads by 20+ now. Bobcats get the #5 seed and will go to Flagstaff for the first round.

Crowd cheering the seniors. All three had 20+ points tonight. Feel really good for those guys. And I feel a lot better about the tourney and next season with Tre and Reid, etc...along with our recruits. Hopefully we can use this game as a lot of momentum.
Cats win 84-68. =D^

Nice win-I'm happy for the seniors. It's good to see Piepoli hit some deep ones-where was that all season?

I don't have much optimism about the NAU game. I hope this team can find something for next season-this one leaves kind of a bad taste.

While I think there has been a lot frustration vented by the fans over how the men's team has performed, a lot of credit has to be given to the players and coaches for keep their heads up during the losing streak. The team kept playing hard and may have turned the corner a little.

Awhile back Coach Huse mentioned in one of his interviews with Will that recruiting took a major step back when some issues with Brandon Miller popped up. It seems like they are starting to regain that ground. We have seen some big games from the young guys like Reid, McCall, Budinich.

With post players like Tre Johnson(he can sky), and Mohammed Fall coming in next fall I think the Cats will be just fine.

as amazing as it sounds, if these guys trust eachother like they did last night, shoot like they did last night, and guard like they did last night....they can win in nau. 2 weeks ago the way we were playing i wouldn't have given us a shot. i like where these guys heads are at right now, and i can't think of a better way to start wrapping up their careers than for rush, piepoli, and howard to get their first win in flagstaff....

Last night was one of those performances that the fans, and I even imagine the team, has been waiting on all season long. I agree with ilovethecats, if the Cats play like that, I think they can beat anyone in the league. Sure, it was against ISU, but keep in mind that ISU almost beat Northern Colorado a few nights ago.

that is just it. yes it was against isu but that really doesn't matter. the team executed well. they trusted eachother and made the extra pass for an open shot. more importantly the guys MADE the open shot which hasn't happened a lot this year. and they defended really well. if they bring the same effort and defensive intensity, along with making shots they can beat anybody. but consistency is the name of the game and the cats have proved to be very inconsistent. but it's a new season, and if they play like they did last night they'll beat nau by 5-10. can you imagine the confidence this team will have then?

listen, i wouldn't bet my house on a win at nau. but i know how far a little confidence can go for a team, and there is no team in this league that has proved that they are so much better than everyone else. i will change my status to cautiously optimistic about the cats chances this weekend!
