MSU jumps to early lead. 7 -2.

Banis cannot use medical redshirt (bad) but in a surprise move is able to play tonight and scores an early two points.

She may become the difference in any playoff run for the Cats if nothing else she is added to the rotation.

EWU 29
MSU 28

MSU has turned it over a few times trying to force the ball into Banis. Tough to beat a team 3 times in a row.

 2010-11 is enough to make me swear off basketball forever. Here's to next season. The women's team should be really good if they can get everybody healthy and keep them healthy.

I stopped watching at halftime hoping to come back happy...

On the women's side of the bracket parity rules just depends on who is shooting hot and turnovers.

Crappy ending but I am proud of the women's team. They played through a lot all year.

Going to miss watching Balien play. She may have been the most complete player and student athlete that I have ever seen go through the women's program.

The team is always a joy to watch.

Tough loss tonight, a disappointing end to a very good season. Hopefully the team got the major injuries out of the way this year and can get the chance to go through next season somewhere near full strength - the experience gained by the young players this year while filling in will go a long way too. Definitely a program on the rise, I just hope we can keep Coach Binford around to see it through all the way before she gets snapped up by a bigger school!

Do we have a list of recruits we have coming in for the women's team?

Yes we do...http://www.msubobcats.com/news/2010/11/ ... ath=wbball I've also taken a look at Elliot and DeWit and their Class A tournament http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/ap ... ts/?p=8296 a couple weeks ago. I'll have more in the next couple weeks as the California kids end their seasons.
