Nice tuneup for the WBB team as they head into the playoffs. Durham and Elliot played a lot of minutes, and did really well. They are both good all around players that make a lot of hustle plays. Coach Binford had Durham and Bussey on the floor at the same time which kind of put Weber's defense in a bind when guarding the 3 point line. Durham shows a lot of good instincts on the floor.
Elliot could turn into a heck of player. She is pretty at shooting the 3, has an uncanny ability to grab rebounds and plays some tough defense, think she had 14 points, 5 boards, 5 assists. Might eventually turn into a more athletic version of Sarah Balian.
I think both these freshman could have a lot of success during the conference playoffs.

Re: Lady Cats vs Weber State
Can you believe that after UM beat MSU easily last Saturday, they then lost their last 2 games to PSU and NAU, 2 teams that didn't even make the tourney? Against the other 7 BSC teams, MSU was 10-4, while UM was only 7-7. If we had just split with them, we would have gained the #2 seed and a bye in the 1st round. I am very optimistic about our chances against them in the tourney. I just can't see them beating us 3 times in a season. It's our last chance to salvage a win againt the Griz in one of the 3 major sports.bpcats wrote:Nice tuneup for the WBB team as they head into the playoffs.
