Team USA, coached by NetScouts Basketball’s Chris Denker, used a balanced scoring attack and good team defense to beat Australia 77-47 in Fuling, China. It was the first game of the 3-game tournament in Fuling, the teams will then move on to another city within the Chongqing City Region.
Katie Bussey had 11 points (three 3′s) for the Americans.

Katie had a great tournament. From the blog, the Coach was really impressed with her game where she shut down China's top player, had a few steals and a couple rebounds and a lot of assists as a point guard. She then followed up that up by going off and scoring 23 points on 9-12 shooting hitting five 3's (highest scoring output by any player in the tournament) and being named to the all tournament team.
Hopefully this will lead to a professional opportunity overseas for her. Great exposure.
