Before reading this article, I had not heard of Ryan Edwards. The article states that he chose Gonzaga over Washington State and the Grizzlies. Did the Bobcats take a run at him?

Yes. According to the word on the street anyways. I can't confirm any of this but the rumor is Huse was the first to offer him but he was never that into coming to Bozeman. Also heard he wanted to go to um but didn't get an offer until WSU and Gonzaga got in the mix and then it was to late. Hard to pass up a place like Gonzaga.

Although I hate to see another stud leave the state, I wish him the best of luck and would love to see him tear it up!

He's got great size, but is very raw on the court. Watched him play during the State AA tournament, and he still needs to learn a few things on the court. But you can't teach size, as we all know.

Would love to see him in a larger setting. He "gets it" when he realizes he's going to have to get himself into shape. Won't be any of what a friend of mine refers to as fat mans half court basketball when he's in college.
