Just read in today's chronicle that coach Binford just received a 47.2% pay increase going form $91,000 to $135,000. In my opinion, it's well deserved, and will hopefully keep a great coach here in Bozeman for the long haul. Kudos to Dr. Cruzado and Peter Fields for making this happen.

Agreed that she deserves the pay increase.

On a related note did the same article mention that Huse got a 2% or 3% pay raise? I saw that in one article and was scratching my head as to why. Aren't most salary increases performance based in this world?

I agree that she deserves the raise. She puts a team out there that excels in the classroom and remains competetive on the court.

Absolutely well deserved...the fact that MSU's women's basketball coach is now making over $20,000 more per year than its men's coach tells you just about all that needs to be said about the current state of the two programs!
