Re: My Big Sky Preview
Wow Jon, I was just about to post a link to your blog after I got done reading it-but you beat me to it.
Great job. More comprehensive than anything put out there by anyone!
So here's a topic: Which Big Sky coaches will be moving on to bigger and better things after this season? Which Big Sky coaches are on the hot seat? (I can think of one), and what do those coaches on the hot seat have to do to keep their jobs?.

Re: My Big Sky Preview
Well in terms of moving on to bigger and better things, Rahe and Tinkle seem like annual candidates to potentially move on. I know in the past couple years, teams like Fresno St, Colorado St, and Nebraska have been rumored spots for those guys. Hard to say but it seems reasonable to think that at least one of them will move on at some point.
Within the next few years my guess is Jim Hayford of EWU and Jack Murphy of NAU will eventually get some calls to move on as well.
On the other end, Huse is obviously under a lot of pressure, and I think Brian Katz from Sac State could be. Think Katz has enough talent on the team to have their best year in a long time, which would obviously save his job. For Huse, I am not sure, you guys might know better than me. If he wins a game in the conference tourney, that would obviously seem to do it. If he misses it, seems like he would be in big trouble. A first round exit again? Hard to say.

Re: Huse. I would guess-a win over Montana, or a win or two in the conference tourney, or a winning record. Any one of those things would probably do it. Any one of those will be pretty tough to get I'm afraid.jon wrote:Well in terms of moving on to bigger and better things, Rahe and Tinkle seem like annual candidates to potentially move on. Re: My Big Sky Preview
I see a real bright spot here. There are FOUR teams under us.
