Down 32-27 at the half. Hit a few threes to stay in it, but also have 3 airballs. Can't rebound to save our lives-so the Bears are getting a lot of extra shots.

terrible on the boards. maybe i'm just too pesimistic but i was actually worried when i saw some of those first threes fall only because i knew we'd continue to shoot them and they could potentially shoot themselves right out of a win. aside from the lack of rebounding i thought they played alright.

Northern Colorado has struggled shooting 3's, rebounding, and free throw shooting this season...until tonight. They're doing all those things against the Cats.

Brumwell ejected for a hard foul. 2 shots and the ball for them. And they get the layup. That'll probably kill us off. 52-44 them.

Just a horrible effort on the boards tonight, but at least MSU seems to be playing some decent basketball at times.
Looks like the MSU women are going to take down UNC to tie for the conference lead!

Wow, that call against Dison was just terrible. Where does the BSC find these guys?

I don't know how-we're throwing it away, missing layups, and not getting any calls, but we're within 2. 62-60 with 4:36 left.

We didn't play any defense in the first half, guys were walking up the court, but much props to the way they played d in the last five minutes!!

The question is why can't we play with that type of intensity on D the whole game? Frustrating to say the least!!

There it is! Cats win 69-66. Again-I don't know how. I though UNCU was playing pretty darn well.
The key play that put us ahead-Dison finally gets a call after getting hosed all night and hits two free throws to give us the 2 point lead. It was a tough call for them, but Dison was hosed twice before.
It looked like we were going to get blown out for a while, but we never allowed them to get to a double digit lead-which was key. Then they just wittled away at it while finally getting some rebounds-including a big rebound by Flavian Davis which ended up as a three point play.
Big win because I think North Dakota is going to be pretty tough to beat over there and then Montana in Missoula-which will be pretty impossible.

The guys really hung in there. Xavier Blount is very well spoken and represented MSU well in the postgame TV interview.
