MBB at North Dakota

Tough road game just started. Frankly I don't expect much. I think they had to get to Grand Forks via dog sled, Huse admitted he didn't know anything about UND during the UNCU post game interview, and North Dakota is usually very good at home.

Early on it's UND by 7 and we're missing free throws and starting off very slow.

The Big SKy TV feed keeps cutting out. It looks like UND has a very nice facility.

They got it back to 3 but then fell to 42-33 at the half. Eric Norman with some nice minutes as he used his length to alter some shots, get a couple of rebounds-and oh yes hit a three...because all our big guys have to shoot threes.

UND is hitting threes all over the place. Unless they cool off this one isn't going to happen.

UND is missing three bigs (one from a concusssion, one JC tranfer on academic probation, a Texas Tech forward who transfered to be closer to his ill father and the NCAA retroactively changed the rules), so UND guards have to be at the top of their game.

There are direct flights on United between Denver and Grand Forks, so the trip probably has the fewest bus miles of any Big Sky travel pair.

UND plays basketball and volleyball in the Betty, which is attached to the Ralph (there is an Olympic ice arena seating 1200 between the two.) The Betty has leather seats too, but no big screen for replays. With a men's hockey game tonight, parking becomes ridiculous if the bastball game was 5 pm.

Travel was a nightmare yesterday with the big storm, I'm not sure when they finally got out of Denver.

took a 1 point lead and then the wheels completely fell off. Huse got a T and UND is running away with it. 77-67 with just over minute left.
