Does anyone know whether Paul Eqwuonwu is going to play this week after suffering a concussion last Thursday night in Cheney? I think he is a great player, and he has been playing well lately. Too bad he will only be here for two years.

Huse was asked about Paul at the press conference yesterday. He said something along the lines of he's not a doctor, so he will wait till the doctors clear Paul to play. Sounds like once he passes the tests, he will be good to go. I imagine he will be back at sometime this weekend, if not by Thursday's game against North Dakota.
The 6-9 center who transferred from Southern Idaho is averaging 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in conference play. He's shooting 49 percent during those 11 games. He also has 15 blocked shots.

I've been told he's doubtful for the lineup tomorrow, but that was this afternoon. Haven't been able to get an update; will try to get one out tomorrow prior to game time.

Can this team ever catch a break?

The official word is questionable for tonight's contest; I'm going to say he's probably not in the lineup. Maybe dressed, but not in lineup.

Maybe it's just gamesmanship by Huse and the Bobcats. It's not like it hasn't been done before.

What a tough break fro Huse and Co. With Egwuonwu and Davis out tonight could be tough. I hope the Cat fans come out and support this squad cause even though they are down some key players, those of us who have seen them play know that they will battle hard.

Hopefully Egwuonwu can give it a go - this is a huge game tonight, as UND is sitting one game behind MSU in the conference standings. With a win, MSU will have a 2 game lead over them, but with a loss they will be tied and UND will own the tiebreaker with a sweep of MSU.

Why is Davis out too? This is the first I have heard about that...

It was said that he had a death in the family.

From what I heard, Davis did lose a family member. I have not been able to confirm his absence tonight.

His Twitter indicates the untimely death of a cousin.
