February swoon, just like clockwork. How can you be up by 12 with 17 minutes left in the 2nd, firing on all cylinders, then go to losing by 10 with 50 seconds left? I was thinking about going to this game - glad I didn't.

I'm as bummed as anyone, but we were without two starters, and our only other real post player fouled out, and that's when the slaughter began.

It is correct MSU was without two starting frontcourt players. That was what Brad will point to, but they had both against UND in Grand Forks and lost, too.
MSU became very careless with the ball tonight against a team that leads the Big Sky in steals per game at just over seven. Was a large part of it UND's harassing man defense? Yes. Even in the post, Blake Brumwell and Eric Norman, the two posts for the night, had it stripped by ambitious guards on occasion. MSU started jacking up 3s towards the end, which has always been the undoing of anything they've accomplished. UND's guards were just faster than the Bobcats', especially in the final seven to 10 minutes, and they know how to get into the passing lanes.
