It will be so confusing if they win. I think.

Fact: a win tonight moves MSU into tie for third place in BSC.

Cats trail 35-30 at the half. They might not win but at least they are competing tonight. Probably going to come down to the season ending homestand with Sac and NAU to determine whether or not they go to the postseason.

I look at Weber and think they have far more talent than any team in the Big Sky including UM. Otis, Berry and Bamforth are all really good players. Then with Bolomboy and Tresnak inside they are really formidable. I would think they have a good shot to win the Big Sky tourney.

MSU looked much better, obviously. Very much the same sort of energy they played with at UM. I still believe they are best when the game becomes relative chaos- forcing 15 turnovers was big. When they can stay in that pressuring 2-3 zone they have the best result. Having Colbert that hot certainly helps.

Weber's subs could probably finish at least 5th in the league. They're loaded.

I suppose all we have left is moral victories. If we lose to the griz by 10 or less in Bozeman we should cut down the nets and put them in the trophy case. ](*,)

WSU shot 64% from the floor, 50% from 3, 83% from the line and only won by 8. Weird.

But turned the ball over 15 times, sloppy part of the game.

All I have to say is I hope we dont have to see you guys again, I dont know what it is, but you guys always seem to play lights out against us. Lot's of talent on your team, really suprised your not higher in the standings.

That #12, wow is all I can say. It was a good game, NOW GO BEAT THE GRIZ =D^

Thanks for the complements; only problem is, #12 is inconsistent, as is the rest of the entire MSU team. Who knows if they'll win another game this season (and most of BN will agree with me when I say "who cares?"). Soooo tired of the mediocrity.

Why wont MSU get rid of Huse and try to get someone else?

Ahh, the million dollar question. Truth is, he's won just enough for Fields to justify retaining him. Just barely keeping his head above water right now. The feeling in Bozeman is that if he makes the playoffs this season, he will be retained. If not, he may get the axe.

Now I have the million dollar question for you, Would you rather MSU make the tourney if it means Huse keeps the job? Or MSU not make the tourney if it means Huse gets the axe?

With better coaching, your team is Big Sky Championship caliber.

That's a hard question to answer - you're not pulling any punches! I honestly don't know how I feel about it.

And I respectfully disagree with your assessment of MSU's talent. For some reason MSU always plays WSU tough, so you always see the good side of MSU baskeball. However, this is the same exact team that lost to ISU - FRICKING ISU!!! - 87-51. On the season ISU averages 55 ppg... They are ranked 300 or worse in the 4 major statistical categories (PPG, Rebounds/Game, Assists/Game, FG%), yet they shot 64% from the field, 61% from 3, outrebounded MSU 24-17 and out-assisted MSU 21-7. That is PA-THE-TIC!

MSU most certainly does not have the talent, depth or consistency to be BSC Champ. caliber team.
