Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Re: '13/'14 Schedule
So what you are saying is we can expect the midseason collapse to hit sometime around Jan. 25th? Did I read that right?

You know its bad in Bobcat Basketball land when rtb can't even muster his little bit of false hope months before the season.rtb wrote:So what you are saying is we can expect the midseason collapse to hit sometime around Jan. 25th? Did I read that right?

January 25 is a good time for the swoon to begin. We're at Idaho State-where we lost by 36 last year. Anybody up for a road trip?rtb wrote:So what you are saying is we can expect the midseason collapse to hit sometime around Jan. 25th? Did I read that right?

Re: '13/'14 Schedule
The only reason to take a road trip like that is if you can get a few days of Utah skiing in. Otherwise you're wasting gas to go to Pokey where there is one decent brewery, not a bar to be found, and most likely a train wreck of a basletball game. So YES! Who's coming with me?BelgradeBobcat wrote:January 25 is a good time for the swoon to begin. We're at Idaho State-where we lost by 36 last year. Anybody up for a road trip?

Re: '13/'14 Schedule
My basketball season:
Schedule is released, don't care.
Football season is going, that's what I care about.
Football season is over, I figure eh what else am I gonna do and I start watching Bobcat basketball.
Think "well maybe this year"
Watch until usually the 3rd or 4th loss in a row in February.
Don't watch another game until the conference tournament, where I somehow get my hopes up again that we can win the tournament.
Count the days until spring ball again.

Re: '13/'14 Schedule
Too True. I went to one game last year (San Jose St.) and was so thoroughly disgusted I didn't go back. I used to hit at least most of the games on the weekends when I could, so maybe 6-10 games a season.CelticCat wrote:My basketball season:

Boy, this is the truth! Pokey has to be the worst bar town ever, especially one with a university. The brewery is okay, but certainly no great shakes. And I was so desperate for a bar I ended up drinking at the TGI Fridays.

Hats for bats. Keeps bats warm.

Re: '13/'14 Schedule
This has to be the weakest non-conference I have seen in years. More reasons not to tune in.

You have two years to return the visit. So they'll have to play that game next year.
