Hold on to your hats folks. The Bobcats beat the Pilots 72-69! This is a huge win for Montana State and a nice win for the Big Sky. Portland took then no. 1 Michigan State to the wire earlier this season. Woo Hoo!

I've posted this before, but it seems appropriate.

It appears as though MSU only shot 11 threes compared to Portland's 23, and committed only 10 turnovers compared with Portland's 15. That seems promising compared with MSU's usual style of play.

Great statistical game from Marcus Colbert. Led the team in points, rebounds, assists and steals. If he, or anyone, can initiate some good inside-outside ball movement, MSU can have a decent year. That's true for any team.
