Well the joy was short lived.

Cut it to 3, but back to 8 again. 12:00 to go. UND bench is hurting MSU. 22 points by UND bench.

Down 3 under 2 minutes to go.
Down 1 again with a minute and a half left.
And down 3 again. Our D is crumbling.

UND 72, MSU 69. Final.
Didn't rebound well. UND bench really hurt. I wonder how often they get that kind of game from their bench.

There were a few very very questionable calls and non-calls on us. Losing by 3 on top of that stings.

MSU sure wasn't the best defensive rebounding team in the country tonight. Odd when UND has almost literally no big guys of note out on the floor. Strange game, MSU failed to score every single time they had a possession with a chance to tie or take the lead in the second half. Combine that with poor rebounding and poor free throw shooting and you probably aren't going to win. I am still pretty optimistic going forward and liked a lot of what I saw tonight, hopefully the team keeps a positive attitude and gets a road win next weekend to make up for this one.

P.S. I can't really complain about the refs tonight as MSU was in the bonus about six minutes into each half, but I sure thought they screwed up at the end awarding the last free throws to UND's #0. Unless the foul was off the ball, #32 received the inbounds pass.
