Down 7-13. We are shooting lights out, 2-15.

We're on pace to barely score 30.

22-11. 4-24 shooting. SUU is over 60%. Good grief.
2-5 from the ft line.

Ugh. We look disorganized, everyone is standing around, out hustled, out coached, can't hit free throws, turnovers. We're only 5-27 from the field so far.

20-24 at half. MSU has had six shots blocked. Two right before the buzzer. 7-31 FGs.

Is Egwuonwu hurt? Noticed he hasn't played yet.
A bit of a comeback to finish the half at least, only down 24-20. SUU seems to do a great job in the first half making other teams play like absolute ****** on offense lately. 7-31 from the field so far... ouch. Hopefully the Cats shoot a little better than 22.6% in the second half

No idea what SUU's guard was thinking driving in like that when he had a wide open outside shot. Wow... just charged right over the Cat player. The SUU announcers didn't like it but that was a definite charge.
Congrats to the Cats picking up an always tough road win in the Big Sky! Cats win 54-52.

We went toe to toe and basket for basket with the worst D-1 team in the nation. We got a charge call to go our way right at the end and despite Eric Clutch Norman missing two free throws with 6 seconds left we hold on for the 2 point win when SUU misses a long contested three. Whoo hoo...I guess.
Anybody going to the griz game Monday night? Fortunately I have a work commitment so I can't go.

Norman saved our butt with his rebounding and defense, Paul was out with a bad back. Why when you are shooting 7/31 in the first half didn't Huse put in Stephan Home and let him try a few threes ,when you shoot 16% of your 3's for the game and you have one of the best shooting 3's player we have had in a long time what have you got to lose? If he isn't going to use the kid why didn't he just redshirt this season? This strategy of only putting him in when there is only a few seconds left when he's been warming the bench for the whole game like he did a couple of home games ago really isn't a confidence builder!!!!!

Na. Heard there's a knitting contest at the senior center that night.

It isn't the most inspiring win in the world, but it's still a win. We haven't been able to see the Cats get a road conference win in February when they don't play well very often. I think the season would have been totally sunk with a loss here. I'm not entirely optimistic here about how the rest of the season will go, but I'm happy to see the guys win.
And I'll be there Monday for the game. The Cats played the Griz tough last year and stranger things have happened!
