Rebounding!!!
Pushing the ball!!!
Working the ball into the paint!!!!
They looked like a team for a change.
I know it won't last, but it was at least worth watching on the big sky app on the iPhone while the slope style snowboard was on the TV

We win 69-64. Yay. Is this the end of the swoon? Or just a temporary interruption. Keep in mind we played a team that had their heart ripped out in an OT loss in Missoula on Thursday.
Stephan Holm had a bit of a coming out party. Why hasn't he been playing more all along? Egwuonwu had a career night. Did somebody kick him in the rear-end? Or has been hurt worse than anyone let on? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt-he a had a beautiful game.

it's February. we won a basketball game. I won't ask questions. go cats.
Coleman was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team (bad attitude). He didn't do anything illegal, just made the head man mad enough to get a seat on the pine for a whole game. The fact that I didn't even notice he wasn't playing until after the game was over is probably all you need to know....

Frankly I think Stephan Holm earned himself a starting job Saturday. He scored and REBOUNDED well....better than Colman has.

He earned a starting spot vs. the griz if that's any indication of the rest of the play of the team.

Holm looks to be very talented, but he makes quite a few freshman mistakes. He will be a damn good one. But he goes through stretches where he makes a bunch of mistakes, including dropping passes that hit him right in the hand, losing control of the dribble, etc. But he has tremendous upside and can only benefit from more minutes. Whereas with Coleman you know what you are getting - a solid bench player who can occasionally influence a game with his three point shooting ability.
