Really really good. Consistent defensive effort and good rebounding.

We were on the verge of blowing them out just a minute ago - up 15. Now not so much.

Sprinkle has done a great job, but I never have understood the Belo/Osobor minutes together. Just feels like our offense goes full stop without the movement and wing cutters

Does anyone ever sit in those four rows behind the scorers table? 😬. Cats look to finish this one.

I did see Leon sitting there all alone one time. Maybe he likes to stretch his legs?!

First 20 and last 10 were great defensive efforts.

Xavier Bishop is playing at an extremely high level lately...not so much with anybody else, but X was enough for tonight. They lost their stud forward early with a wrist injury so that was a bad break for them.

Maybe it's me and my own damaged psyche, but the whole crowd, the team, everybody was tense. It didn't feel like a champion was about to be crowned-it felt like everybody was worried about impending disaster. It seemed like team was playing with a gorilla on their back. Hopefully they'll loosen up a little bit now for the next two. You can tell the team really, really cares-maybe that's the problem.

Amin Adamu has been really quiet in the later part of this season. He started to look a bit more like his old self tonight. Not all the way, but a lot better.

Defense was definitely a focus. SUU didn't get many great open looks-much better than the last game where we were conceding wide open three after wide open three. SUU doesn't have a big that can draw Belo away from the basket so that makes us match up well against them.

Xavier Bishop better be all league-and maybe player of the year. What he's been doing has been amazing.

Boy I sure didn’t have that “tense” feeling…. I actually felt relatively comfortable most of the game except for the run by SUU to claw back from the 11 point deficit early in the second half.

Geez we held the leading scoring team in the conference 26 points under their average!! 26 points!! And to allow SUU only 20 points in the first half….what an effort. It looked like a huge defensive effort to me. I know Bishop had a stellar game on offense but how can you discount Belo effort. And how many blocks and stops did the guys make…good hustle plays. The sequence mentioned in a post above with 3 min left in the game was a pure gem and had me and the crowd around me all on our feet. We ended up shooting over 45% from the field (another poor effort from the arc but had some great inside play).

Oh well, i guess I just had a different view.

Their guard ran into a camera guy on the baseline? That’s what Mackey said. I seemed to have missed that.

Yep, it happened towards the end of the 1st half.

For those that didn't click Colter's story, this is a great quote:

“When we got off the bus on Sunday night, literally I was seething. It hit me on the bus ride, I need to make sure these guys know the opportunity we have. We had a team meeting, I brought them on the court, and looked up at that banner right there. We were standing right here, the whole team, and I talked to them about the championship team I played on and how close we are to this day. Leaving a legacy means something, and if you don’t win it, will you be remembered?

“You might be remembered for a little bit but you’re not going to be remembered forever. That 2022 (banner) is going to be up there forever. They’re going to be able to come back (and see it) at any time, and the camaraderie this team will have forever is something they don’t even know how special it is right now. I showed them my net from ’96 and I told them about Nico (Harrison) and Quad (Quadre Lollis) and (Adam) Leachman, (Scott) Hatler, Danny Sullivan, the whole team, and how special that bond is.”
