I don't think MSU ever said how many tickets they had in their allotment. I found another article saying that a team only got 350 tickets for the first round games, so once the players' and coaches' families are taken care of there can't be much left for the general public. I'd imagine most fans going to San Diego will need to buy their own tickets through the secondary market. We are going to the women's game at Stanford and the ticket link MSU posted was to buy tickets directly from Stanford. I just checked the seating chart and bought our tickets as close as we could get behind the MSU bench - $25 each for two games, not a bad deal at all!

Thank you for your response! Gosh, $25 each, not a bad deal at all! When we saw that the MSU men were going to be playing in San Diego, we planned to go since we are currently in AZ, and we could have driven. We were all set to call MSU for tickets as soon as they became available, but unfortunately it turned out that we are unable to go. We will certainly be watching the games on tv. My husband read about Covid protocols for spectators, but he did not know if that was current information. We have been to the first and second round ncaa tournaments, three times, and always had a great time. One year that we attended, we were able to watch Shaq play. Not sure if that was the same year that we saw Indiana play, coached by Bobby Knight. Have a great time, and Go Cats, and Lady Cats! 🏀🏀🏀

If the Lady Cats win we will need to make a new version of the "Hoosiers" movie. Hey, #16 Harvard beat #1 Stanford a few years back. It CAN happen, just not likely, but what a great opportunity and on ESPN 2.
