Just wanted to stop by and tell y’all the respect I and many Tech fans have for y’all’s team and especially y’all’s coach. Scrappy bunch of players y’all have and congratulations on a great season. Watching your coach hug his seniors as they came off the court was a heart warming experience for me. You can tell he truly loves his players and they love him. I’ve watched the post game press conference and Coach is a class act and the players he had with him are all very well spoken and you can tell they are upstanding young men. Congrats on making the tournament and I for one will keep an eye on MSU and wish y’all all nothing but the best next year.

Thank you! I am pleased that the essence of our team came through — fierce competitors on the court, and fine young men away from it. And Coach? As good as they come. When Jubrile Belo got tossed from a game on a really sketchy call, Coach Sprinkle ran after Belo as he was leaving the arena and grabbed him and pounded Jubrile’s heart a few times. I’d never seen anything like it. Coach was a great shooting guard at MSU, and lead his team to the NCAAs as a freshman. Do keep watching MSU next year, if you want to see Jubrile Belo at full power, hopefully having resolved his very painful knee injury. He’s MSU’s all-time leading shot blocker, and he does some very serious sky work — like a surface to air missile with a vicious spike at the end. We liked your team a lot, the defense was beyond good, and the shooting was crazy that day. Coach Sprinkle had good words to say about his interactions with your team’s players.

I was down at the regional in Anaheim back in 2019, and partied with a bunch of texas tech fans. Great performance thumping a really good Michigan team and then beating #1 Gonzaga to go the the final 4.

You all were a fun group.
