I think these next two games are going to be tough.

Neither Abilene Christian nor UNT has beaten a D-1 opponent yet this year. UNT will be tough playing on its home court, but MSU should definitely be favored against ACU.
Glad we are making the Texas tour. I’m sure Leia Beattie’s friends and extended family from Midland area will be there to support the team. And KJ Lamardo’s family from next door New Mexico will make the drive over I bet….
Hope they take the opportunity to see their girls and friends play…I would!!!
Radio said recoverable injury, but day to day status. Did anyone else see the play against San Jose St. where she got tripped backward and ended right on top of their player? It sure looked like she hit the back of her head on the floor when she landed. I’m thinking that was when the injury occurred. It was late in the game and I don’t think she came back.

I did see the play. And it certainly could have been the one resulting in injury…kinda awkward when they fell back with legs tangled, etc. But I didn’t notice her leaving the floor…in fact I thought she shot two free throws from that and looked OK…but I may have have been mistaken.

You are correct. She did go right to the line. It might have been me that dozed off!

Not a great start against North Texas. Sloppy passing, missing layups, and a lack of situational awareness. Down 9 at end of 1st.

Down 32-19 at half. Shooting 16% from the field, 0% from behind the arc. Ten turnovers. If we weren’t 11-13 from the line, it would be ASU all over again. Kola on the bench in street clothes.

55-46 end of third. Much better shooting including a buzzer- beating three by MadJack. Defense is giving up waaaaay too many layups.

66-57 final. Not a good look against a team that is half a head shorter than we are, especially on the boards. North Texas had 17 offensive rebounds, most leading to points. Monday’s practice itinerary should be shooting layups, defending against layups, and boxing out.

The commentators on the video feed were insufferable homers. I don't think Gillogly is like that...is he?
