WBB vs NAU

Post by wapiti » Fri Jan 06, 2023 10:01 am

In the Brick @ 1:00 PM

NAU has several good players and is well coached.
NAU came from being down big in the first quarter against the griz to a lead at halftime. These NAU girls know how to play and not panic. We cannot have any letdown in this one.

Pretty torrid pace. NAU started pretty hot, but the Cats pretty much matched them and took the second quarter to lead by 5 at the half.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

The halftime baby race looked a lot like Bobby Hauck's progress so far on his #RTD project.

NAU is going to win this one. Cats just missed too many good looks at the basket down the stretch. Two great teams!

They better take account of what is lacking and correct it. Looks like we are about a 4th or 5th place team in this league!

So many missed shots where it went in and out, many from point blank. NAU is good. I think this might be Lori Payne's first win in Bozeman. They were pretty happy. Looked like a lot of her family in the stands in NAU gear.

The TV broadcast said MSU had won 8 in a row against NAU. Their win in Missoula on Thursday was their first there since 2007. Pretty good weekend for them!

The Play-By-Play guy for ESPN+ had a very ruff two games this week. He just was off a little... That Stat they put up was very confusing as it said that NAU had lost 8 strait, but not to MSU (it should have)... IF I know the guy who calls the games, he will shake off these last two games, and be way better going forward. I am sure he will promise that to all the fans...

Next time you talk to that Play-By-Play guy, would you please have him inquire into correcting the vision quality of that main mid court camera? It’s like watching these home games on ESPN+ with a 19 inch Magnavox tube TV.

nau allowing multiple players to run the ball up court creates a fast paced offense and is exciting to watch, msu could not match
