I like reading about the personal side or life stories of some of our young adults. That was why it was kinda fun visiting with Blair Braxton on Saturday as she had traveled up for the game and was able to say hello and hear about what she is doing these days. I saw Falyn Freji there also but was unable to visit with her. Nice to see former Bobcats back in the house for Cat-Griz.

Anyway, I was never sure what prompted Kenzie Stumne retirement from the team so enjoyed reading this article.

And I picked up this senior night video from Colorado School of Mines on the Van Sickle sisters. I know Ashley was injured most of the fall but has been seeing a bit of time in the new year. Her sister is a star! CSM is tied for 1st place in the RMAC with a 17-3 conference record and are currently ranked #18 in the nation at their level.

Thanks for posting this. Fun interview with the sisters. I’d like to know their average height. Little sis is a *lot* taller than Ashley.

Ha! Sammy is 6’2” and Ashley 5’7”. I looked at the School of Mines Roster…of the 13 ladies on the team, 12 are graduating in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Industrial, etc.). Even Ashley is pursuing her masters in Engineering Management. Sharp group of ladies.
