So much of college success is recruiting and that is all about connections. I worry he won't have the right ones coming from Division 2 & 3. Time will tell but I'm worried we'll go back to where we were all those years before Danny resurrected the program or worse. Still very sad about the whole thing. I feel a little sorry for Coach Logie actually. He has some big shoes to fill and quickly.

Well.... going to find out if he's worth a sh*t or not real quick, he gets to bring in a whole new roster.

Certainly going to be interesting considering he doesn’t have any coaching continuity left at MSU. No assistants yet, just a handful of players, only one or two real veterans with starter experience left on the roster. Just crazy to watch.

Build. Gotta get him a broom to sweep up the ashes first. Best of luck and I’m certainly pulling for him.

Assuming no D! connections for Matt is presumptuous. Lets see what he does with this great opportunity.

Leon has a great record on hiring new coaches with no head coaching experience at this level.

Looks like he was no slouch as a player either.......

During his playing days at Lehigh, Logie scored 1,524 career points and his 262 three-point field goals is still tops in school annals. In addition, Logie is the top free throw shooter in the history of the Patriot League at 90.7 percent. He graduated from Lehigh in 2003 and earned his masters in Educational Leadership in 2006.

Do we still have players!? Do we have any commits left?

This looks bad and certainly isn't fun but the portal is a double edge sword people, it's easier than it ever has been to just put a team together and win from day one, there are like 1300 D1 players in the portal right now. Not saying it will be easy but the sky hasn't fallen, not even on next season.

I trust Leon in his decisions. Matt Logie certainly has a great record. I am anxious to hear more about his plans for assistant coaches and what his recruiting network looks like. As has been mentioned, the key to success nowadays is recruiting. I wish him much success. Welcome Matt!
