Re: WBB 2023-24 schedule
The schedule was up this week but today it’s not visible on the website. Maybe some changes to the schedule? Some of the first pre-season games that were listed were vs. Carroll College, BYU, Arizona State, San Jose State, Lewis-Clark State, & North Dakota before going to Mexico for the Cancun Challenge.

Re: WBB 2023-24 schedule
Is there a reason that our NCAA Division 1 team is going to play in Helena vs NAIA Carroll?

Re: WBB 2023-24 schedule
Over the last 5 or 6 years we have played many of the Frontier Conference schools in Exhibition games. Carroll multiple times, Providence, Western, Rocky, Tech. These exhibition games do NOT count against season records. Ladies that may be red shirting can play in the games without burning a red shirt.damnyoutuesday wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 5:24 pmIs there a reason that our NCAA Division 1 team is going to play in Helena vs NAIA Carroll?
I think the game with Carroll could be a decent contest. They are ranked #6 and have three Griz drop downs in Jamie Pickens, Willa Albrecht, Kendall Keller (Montana Gatorade POY in 2020). Wished we didn’t have FB tomorrow or I would drive up to Helena to watch. Playing in Helena because of FB in Bozeman in afternoon and conference womens VB game at night in Shroyer.

I figured it was because of the volleyball game, but still-this is kinda weird. This is a very losable game. I suppose it doesn't matter, but this is something you would never see on the men's side. Hopefully some Bobcat fans are there.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 7:47 pmOver the last 5 or 6 years we have played many of the Frontier Conference schools in Exhibition games. When Tech beat the Griz men’s team a couple years back…I was trying to remember but it seems that game was in Butte…or was it in Missoula. Too lazy to go look tonight.BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 9:19 pmI figured it was because of the volleyball game, but still-this is kinda weird. This is a very losable game. Re: WBB 2023-24 schedule
Carroll is celebrating 50 years of Women's Basketball this game/weekend. I would assume that's part of the reason we're playing there? IMO it's a great move by us to bring a big game to Helena and be part of the celebration!damnyoutuesday wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 5:24 pmIs there a reason that our NCAA Division 1 team is going to play in Helena vs NAIA Carroll?

Re: WBB 2023-24 schedule
Pretty sure it was in Missoula. MSU men and women have had some close calls against Frontier teams at home in the past. It won't be the end of the world if we happen to lose this one.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 11:37 pmWhen Tech beat the Griz men’s team a couple years back…I was trying to remember but it seems that game was in Butte…or was it in Missoula. I'm aware we play NAIA teams every year, but I've never seen a D1 team play one as a road gameBobcatDel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 7:47 pmOver the last 5 or 6 years we have played many of the Frontier Conference schools in Exhibition games.
