WWB vs LC State

Post by HiLineCat » Sat Oct 28, 2023 12:31 pm

Will this exhibition game be on ESPN+? I would like to watch a little of it before the football game.

Having a rough time finding a score for this one. MSU was up 43-26 after the 3rd quarter according to their Twitter but never posted a final score.

They finally updated it! 70-39 in favor of MSU. That's a good result as L&C is a very good NAIA program.

Thanks for posting the stats! Deden and Dykstra will certainly be a formidable duo this year.

Yes indeed our bigs will thrive inside. But unless we get an actual shooter from the arc teams will let us have the outside shot all day and fall back to defend the inside. I wasn’t impressed with our arc shooting in the three quarters I watched…in fact I was wondering if our trey shots would hit the rim???!!

Did the girls look as gassed as they did at the Blue and Gold game?

Much better than Blue and Gold but still progressing towards regular season shape. Lot of rotation in lineups in the early season exhibition games. I do like their defensive effort from what I’ve seen so far.

Dylan Philip is likely starter at point.

Hein will be back in a week or so (hoping after the Carroll)
