Rocky is good this season, after being down a little bit the past couple of years. Coach Dreikosen has been at Rocky for more than half of his life as either a player and longtime coach. His new assistant, Steve Keller, has been coaching for as long as probably anyone - his retirement from the job at Providence lasted all of about a month before he joined the staff at RMC. And sitting up in the bleachers I'm guessing will be Mick Durham, who also has about 50 years of playing and/or coaching experience.

So there's some coaching backdrop for tonight, I'll be interested to see how the game plays out.

This has upset written all over it.

All of Rocky’s strengths are the Cats weaknesses. They’re deep, they’re experienced, they can shoot, can run a deadly fast break, and it looks like they can rebound.

Rocky looks just as good if not better , this game should not even be close, which is pathetic!
And to think some of the guys for Rocky were not even looked at by the bobcats. Including (The the Montana kids)
Logie - put your bench in and maybe you can keep up with Rocky, who’s players were not considered by your program because they were good enough to play for you
Montana kids are good enough to play at this level, and if your gonna lose , do it with Montana kids on the floor. smh

This is really hard to watch. I'm afraid this is what's going to happen when we play against teams that have watched film on us and prepared for us, which Rocky obviously has and what Big Sky teams will do. Unless Rocky really goes cold they should win this. 38-30 Rocky at the half.

We are getting out rebounded by an NAIA team for Christ sakes !!!! that is the stat that sticks out to me.
Wow mind blowing.

Good lord. This team cannot shoot.

Uggg this team is not good. Maybe if we played an all NAIA schedule we could finish with a winning record.

Just heartbreaking how good the team was going to be before Sprinkle left and now we have this instead. Not Logie’s fault just not the talent on the court that we have had.

There are three Montana players that have been in and one starts. It would be immediate terms for dismissal if a coach at UM or MSU tried to build a team of all Montana players or even a core group. Even if there was only one D1 school here it would be a train wreck.

It’s bound to happen eventually. MSU and UM play Montana Frontier teams every year. The women were smoked by CC 10-12 years ago.

Rocky is hitting over 50% from three and overall. Hard to beat a team shooting that well.

Jesse O tried to walk on when Danny was coach and couldn't make it.

Yup…. Hate to harp on it…. But it makes me want to puke knowing how good this team would have been this year…. And what we now have after sprinkle left.

So frustrating.

Osobar is USU's leading scorer at like 24/game. Brown averages 4.

Owen was on Bobcat roster 20-21. So who would he have replaced in last two years championship teams. Bishop? Brown? Battle? Tynes? He made a good move at right time and making a nice contribution at Rocky.

Bellach was on the roster. He was half a step slower than the forwards we had at time. Made a great move to Tech and was a key Frontier conference performer.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the Cats played better without Turner.

2 of the players that have big minutes tonight have EXTREMELY limited minutes in their college careers! Lecholat, Nduka, and Walker sitting the majority of the game?! Didn’t see that happening.
