Based on the thread in the football forum, who would be on your Bobcat Basketball Mount Rushmore? This is an interesting one with plenty of options from 100+ years to consider.

Cat Thompson, Brick Breeden, Max Worthington, Mick Durham.
Honorable mentions: Larry Chaney, Danny Sprinkle-if he would have coached here just one more season I'd put him over Durham.
WBB:
Kathleen McLaughlin, Cass Bauer, Blythe Hommes, Trisha Binford

My choices would be:
Cat Thompson - No brainer, MSU's only hall of fame player
Danny Sprinkle - Involved in 3 of MSU's 4 NCAA appearances
Jack Gillespie - All-time rebound leader
Tyler Hall - All-time scoring leader by a wide margin
Next up: Tom Domako and Mick Durham
For the women, it's easier. Kathleen McLaughlin, Cass Bauer, Tricia Binford, Darian White
Next up: Peyton Ferris

Thought about him, but overall I think Danny has had more impact on the program coming from the '96 team.

I loved watching Ray Willis Jr! I believe you live in Alaska, but were you an MSU guy before?

If I remember correctly, Ray was part of a really good three guard rotation on those Bobcat teams. I believe Tony Hampton started alongside Willis, with Chris Conway coming off the bench. Then after Hampton graduated, the starters were Willis and Shann Ferch. Does that sound right?

Yes, I live in Alaska but grew up in Missoula so I got to see all of the Bobcats as they came to town once a year to play my Grizzlies. Now I'm a die hard MSU fan since Patrick is a Bobcat

I don’t remember Hampton playing with Ray and Conway, but I remember Domako and the crowd favorite Steve Snodgrass from rural MT, maybe Shelby? That was a hopping time for Bobcat basketball.

I didn’t realize that you are a Montana native! So glad to have Patrick as a Bobcat! Can’t wait till he is fully healthy!

Larry Chaney in the 50's and early 60's. Still number 2 or 3 in all time scoring.

If I remember right, Hampton was a year or 2 older, his main years were like 84-85 maybe 86 at the latest, Conway was more 87-88-89 or so.
I was on the same dorm floor as Conway the 87-88 year in south hedges, he was a good guy.
