Great game so far. Lots of ups and downs, steals, amazing shots, it's had it all. Ford is going beast mode. Walkers sitting with a couple fouls, but we need him to get a rest anyway right?

Coach Logie has done an amazing job after Sprinkle’s pillaging of the core players. It’s clear he knows how to get the most out of what he has to work with.
We are blessed to have both him and Coach Binford, who continues to win with a barbell squad

Very nice 1st half. Cats D is gritty and playing with energy so far.
Really liking how the offense is being ran through our guards by slashing and trying to get to the rim. Post players need to make the most of their scoring opportunities because Griz bigs don’t give up much.
If I was DeCuire I’d do everything I could to get the ball into the post in the 2nd half. Cats are so outmatched in the post it’s silly.

After a really good 1st half, Griz depth and experience really took over. The outcome was never really in question from the start of the 2nd half. Cats were out of sync on offense and couldn’t get to their spots on the floor. Logie had to slow the pace to almost glacial to keep Walker involved in the game and that’s not the strength of this team. The rebounding effort from the posts remains abysmal. I’d love to see Chika or Walker actually box someone out instead of letting Rob and ET3 do their dirty work.

Well crap, gris just too experienced. How old is Moody now, 30?

Would be nice if someone would unplug that vacuum at the bottom of the Griz net. Man I am continuously baffled at how kind our rims can be to visitors...

totally out coached second half. Why no subs when it's not working and everyone is beat?

They put two power forwards in and the second half was pretty much watching a layup drill. Logie had no answer. He finally went to the 1-3-1 zone to slow them down, but by then they were in clock burning mode. Played well enough on offense, but couldn't get any stops on defense. If teams can go big on us, we're in trouble because our "bigs" just aren't very good on defense.

The griz shot 63% from 3 point range, which is just a few percentage points lower than they shot during pregame warm-ups. Probably.

And Moodie went off from 3 when the forwards weren't getting easy buckets. Gritty first half performance, second half showed that this roster is going to have a tough go of it against BSC teams with any appreciable size in the second half of the conference season. Aside from Walker, the Bobcats lack any sort of physical presence down low. Thomas and the new kid from San Fran had their way down low in the second half. I think the Gris shot over 80% from the field in the second half...

Classy move from DeCuire after the game giving RFIII props for his play right off the bat. The antithesis of BH.
Also Moody blowing kisses to the student section. I'll bet there was some cool back and forth between him and the student section through the game. He's got to be old enough his kid is about to graduate now right?

Line of the night from the student section after Moody made his first (and only first half) bucket: "Congrats, you made a shot, now maybe you should learn to pull out!"
Moody said Tuesday he fully expected to get the full gamut of insults and wouldn't take it personally.
I also appreciated that Travis praised Robert Ford III. How could you not? RB3 is an absolute joy to watch for basketball purists. Plays his absolute ass off. Really great player, great example for young kids.

Isn't that the first time he's beaten Montana State at any of his 3 or 4 schools or whatever the number is? I don't think he's going to get to play another 3 or 4 years to even the number, but who knows, I could be wrong on that.

He'll they've got like 2 Grad students and 5 Srs. Other than that they've got Money Williams, Sawyer and Nap that play any considerable minutes. Williams is hurt.

Decure and the griz should have won that game by 25 based on the talent of both teams. If Osobor, Brown and Battle played last night it would have been over at halftime.
He should have more championships and ncaa tournament appearances for as long as he’s been there, what he can’t find work outside of missoula just like their football coaches?
