ACU beat Southern Miss 82-74 tonight (Monday).
Bobcats play ACU tomorrow night (Tuesday).
Fun to get another D-1 non-conference in the Fieldhouse.

I’ve only watched the SMU game but was really impressed with Jed Miller! It will be interesting to see how he plays tonight. Plays more like a true point guard than Jabe in my opinion and his rebounding reminds me a bit of RF3. it would be a pleasant surprise, at least to me, if he continues to play that well.

Cats started on a 7 -0 run to force an ACU timeout before the under 16. Really impressed with the defensive intensity I've seen so far. The bench is really engaged on the defensive possessions. The defensive rebounding is much improved from last game as well. Go Cats!

The ESPN crew just noted an insane stat. Brandon Walker is #2 in the country in usage % at 39%. Which means that 39% of the Cats offensive possessions he touches the ball. An wild stat for a dude who only averages 18 minutes/game.

I would not want to try to guard Walker.

And ACU just burned another timeout. 19 - 2 good guys with 13:39 left in the 1st.

Cats are about ten deep. Holy cow they should just get better and better as the season progresses.

As the kids would say, Jed is giving RF3. He is rebounding well above his size and has a tremendous motor. Love it!

It seems to me that if Logie wants the offence to be more "in control" he allows Jed to run the offense. if it is more up beat, Jabe is at the controls. Also, as previously stated this team is deep. Ballhandlers, shooters, playmakers. I like this team and the style of ball that they execute.

The cats have 13 3s for 39 pts. ACU had 39l8 pts...total

I believe SACCAT is the announcer for the basketball games on ESPN+. you speak of walkers soft touch. Sometimes all you have to do is get the ball above the rim and good things happen. Also, SACCAT nice job on what you you do. Thank you.

Bla we beat a bad team - hollow victory any decent NAIA team would beat us at this point unless we made a bunch of 3s
living and dying by the the : point shot does not win championships.
Last year we were scrappy this year we are not.

One of those nights where one team hits everything they throw up and the other can't buy one. It was 19-2 to start and kinda stayed there the rest of the way. Great balance all around as most everyone hit at least 2 threes.
Saturday's game against Cal State Northridge will probably be a little tougher. They're 5-1 and beat Denver, who beat us, by 29. The play the griz tomorrow night I think.

That’s a poor take. We are 7 games into this season, and have played arguably two bad halves of basketball (first half at DU and the first half at Wichita St.). Other than that, we look the part of a contender in the Big Sky, although there are plenty of teams in the league that will have a say in that. Lots of basketball left to be played and plenty of room for growth for us. Your NAIA comment is a joke, as we could play 100 NAIA games and probably not take a loss.

Our depth is looking good. Not a lot of BSC teams that can boast the depth we have at all of our position groups 7 games into the year.
Point Guards- Jabe, Bryce, Jed
Wings - Brian, Patrick, Max, Tyler, Sam
Post - Brandon, BJ, Chika
That’s a solid 11 man rotation that will shorten up as the season progresses, but as it stands now, we can play any of those 11 guys and not see a dip in production.

Every single one of your posts are negative in regards to Logie and this team. Do you have some personal grudge?

Looking back at the post history the original complaint last year was about not having enough Montana players on the team.

I have no personal grudge whatsoever, I am just stating facts
of what I see. But my opinion is yes I think we should give more of our home state kids a chance. If I wanted to watch a bunch of out of state kids play I will go to another state.
Look back 30 years ago we used to win with our kids.
Currently the MSU women have in state girls that play and have an impact.
Why can the women do it and not the men ?
