MBB at EWU

Bobcats are up 32-31 at the half. Was watching the women's game so can't comment on how they look, but I'm sure we'll be getting the usual Brandon Walker critiques any time now...

They had a lot more energy than the last game, we will see if they can keep it up for the 2nd half.

Patterson actually made a layup! I think that is first one I've seen him attemp.

I also switched after women's game. Cats looked good for the last part of the first half. Hope they keep it up.

I thought anything around 20 feet was a layup for him.

Another layup by Patterson. Maybe found a new niche.

Why do these games always have to be so close??

This men’s team looks like it has no idea how to win.

As soon as we get within a possession late in games we freeze up. Just don't have a guy with that ice water in his veins...

Another Patterson layup. It's now a trend.

Ouch… we REALLY miss Robert Ford. Not only his hustle and mental toughness, but his leadership to make everyone around him better. This team looks frustrated with each other.

Not a good start, those were both very winnable games. Need to sweep next weekend at home or this could turn into an ugly season.

We just don't seem to have any identity on offense. What do we want to do? Seems like we spend the whole game winging it and trying to out athlete the other team but then when the chips are down they don't have any clue what to do...

In close games the team who makes the least amount of mistakes usually ends up winning. Untimely turnovers down the stretch and throughout this game really hurt and made all the difference. This team is still looking for their “dog” and the one they can really rely on when the going gets tough

I think that’s what coach wants to do? The whole offense looks like it’s dictated by the players running concepts and just playing freely. When it’s humming it’s a thing of beauty. But when it’s not, well, we’ve seen that a lot this year. It truly doesn’t look like they have “set” plays like you saw Sprinkle run constantly. The only time this team runs something that looks like a set play it’s after a timeout.

Wisconsin beat Iowa by 31 and is now 11-3. Where did the MSU team go that played WI close early on? Anyway, it's all my fault. I bought season tickets for me and the wife. I always buy season tickets for the women but thought I would get them for the men this year. Hopefully we will get going at home.
