Tied 23-23 with 5 minutes to go in first half. Seems to be a pretty physical game. At times I felt we were not getting foul calls, but now it seems to be swinging in our favor..

I love his offensive skill set, however, we need to have the Max A talk.. Like I said, he can be an incredible offensive weapon, but he is a net negative for this team at this point in time. He’s a slow defender and completely unwilling to be a rebounder. He’s given up 3 or 4 offensive rebounds in the 1st half because he’s out of position and not strong enough to box out defenders. Given the makeup of this team I’d much rather have a lunchpail guy out there who’s willing to do the dirty work than someone who seems uninterested in getting rebounds while playing the power forward position

With that being said, this has been a good half of basketball so far. Down 4 at half is completely manageable given some of the shots ISU has hit so far. ISU shooting 43% seems unsustainable given how tough the Cats D is playing. Zephir has been an injection of life at the guard position that this team desperately needed. Hopefully as he gets more games under his belt, everything starts to click. Some more creative lineups from the coaching staff so far which has added a fun wrinkle.
MSU is one of three teams in the country to start the same starters in every game this year to date (kind of a fun stat)

I've enjoyed the game so far. Totally winnable game, hopefully Logie has made some adjustments and they don't hit anymore rainbow 3s.. we could make a few more layups too..not too much to ask is it?

Brandon Walker missed layup. Tell me if you’ve seen this before.

Jed Miller is really stepping up, tips the ball for a steal and the Cats take the lead 63-62 with 4 minutes to go.

It’s really unbelievable. It’s like 15 wide open, missed layups every game! Hahaha

Cats up 1 with 4 min left though, see if they can close it out!

Well crap. I tuned in just in time for ISU's 8-0 run to win the game.

I'd be happy if Walker never played another minute for MSU.

Grind it out game ends poorly as cats blow another lead late in the game. The momentum swung one final time as ISU went on a final 8-1 run the last 3 minutes and change. Momentum really flipped though at about the 2 minute mark when the Cats went back to back possessions with Max and Brandon settling for very bad shot selections.

ISU snaps an 11-game losing skid against the Cats. Good for them. Darling is a stud and Hollenbeck is a problem.

We had a Tyler Patterson sighting tonight which was very exciting! When he makes shots it helps open up this offense and provides a bit of a safety blanket.

Gonna be playing very early in the Big Sky basketball tournament. Fortunately, it starts on a Saturday evening.

Athletically, McMahon is one of our best players, but he hasn't been able to throw it in the ocean from anywhere on the court. He maybe needs to decide what his game is. Taking 3's like most of the others; or defense, rebounding and scoring off of rebounds...hustle points. He's a slasher on a team of 3 point shooters. His game doesn't fit with this team. The talent and effort are there, but he hasn't been able to just play basketball...too much nervous energy. I feel for the kid....
