MBB vs Weber State

Was there a contest to see who could hold out the longest starting a men's game thread?

Weber State leads the all-time series over MSU 89-46. Sweeps over Weber are extremely rare, so we should be happy about this one...except Weber is down to Blaise Threatt a couple of journeymen, and a bunch of freshmen. They've just had awful luck this season with injuries and illness and whatnot. That being said, this should have been 15-20 comfortable win, but this Bobcat team can't close anybody out. Weber got it to 3 and finally Patterson and Mullins teamed up like they did in high school to finish the Wildcats off. Big game Saturday against ISU-another long time rival who's having a pretty good season by their standards.

By the way, does anybody know-is BJ Kolly hurt or in the dog house? Nduka is getting all the backup center minutes.

FYI... With the win tonight, Cats are now in 6th place... 1/2 game back from 4th.

Yeah we almost lost to 1 single guy. Just blows me away how every other team has figured out if they just drive over and over on us, they will likely get a foul called but we just never seem to have that guy...

Weber sucks. They are ranked 9th in a 10-team conference. Their conference winning percentage is .250 and their overall percentage is .349.

Gotta win the ones your supposed to. This Cat team isn't blowing anyone out. This helps learn to wincloae games.

If the Bobcats beat ISU on Saturday they'll move up to either 4th or 5th in the standings depending on the result of the EWU/Idaho game. It's probably going to shift around every game but MSU will be in a great spot to avoid the first round games if they win on Saturday.

Must be saving him like he did with Olmstead last year. Gonna spring him on the teams at the tournament.
