Thursday Games
On the men's side, UNC is up big over EWU and Idaho is up big over NAU at the half. EWU and NAU losses would definitely help MSU in going for a Top 6 tournament seed.
All of the women's games are starting now or in the next hour, the big one to watch tonight is Idaho hosting NAU. If Idaho wins then MSU can clinch the #1 seed and share of the regular season championship at Cat/Griz.

Vandals beating the Jacks by 8 at the end of the 1st quarter. NAU loss and Cats win means we win the big sky by way of tiebreaker right?

Correct, MSU wins the #1 seed as soon as they clinch at least a tie with NAU in the final standings.

On the men's side Idaho State is running PSU out of the gym in the first half. PSU is a very different team at home vs on the road.

Oh, by the way, ISU announcers whining about the refs. Every. Single. Possession...

NAU Wbb getting hot and pulling away from Idaho. The net cutting will have to wait until next week.

Re: Thursday Games
Idaho has really been struggling lately after their hot start in conference play. MSU has to go play there for their last game, it'll be interesting to see what happens there if MSU is 17-0 and playing for an undefeated regular season.

Weber State has 0 points in the 4th quarter almost 3 minutes in. The box score for then is 9 10 and 9! Ouch.

Ouch indeed! Another ouch for the EWU women who led UNC 46-35 and then allowed a 15-0 run to end the game and lose 50-46.

Re: Thursday Games
When I watch these other women's games it's very apparent to me that we definitely get everyone's best shot. Idaho State is going to overtime at Portland State right now. ISU doesn't look like the same team that made us sweat through 3 quarters in Pocatello.

Re: Thursday Games
Idaho State could quite possibly be MSU's quarterfinal opponent in the tournament and they always scare me after that 2016 game. They needed 2 OTs but are going to beat PSU.BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 10:48 pmWhen I watch these other women's games it's very apparent to me that we definitely get everyone's best shot.
