Has anyone heard anything about Montana State's off-the-books "secret game" that is usually played in October? Who? When, Where?

Last week we secret scrimmaged MSU-B at the Brick and defeated them by an unofficial score of about 86-65. Billings was aggressive and pressed full court throughout the game. They look like they’ll be athletic enough to compete well in the GNAC, and the pace they are setting will be different than most. Our guys looked solid and were able to manage the boards and we got excellent three point shooting from a number of guys (I’m being intentionally vague in order to honor the secret nature of the event).

Yesterday afternoon we hosted Utah Valley University- who played in the NIT last season. We controlled the tempo of this one from start to finish and again shot with great efficiency. I think we ended up winning by something like 74-60 after maintaining a 20 point lead for most of the second half. Guys looked great - ball movement was impressive and guard play was strong. Again, I could give more details but we’ll get to see the guys play against the CU Buffs up in Boulder in two weeks.

Not secret but women's blue gold scrimmage tomorrow night at 7 in the Brick. Be there or be square.

I was at the secret game against Duke and we actually squeezed it out and won by 2. Impressive win.
