A scored double dual track meet in the fieldhouse tomorrow night, 4:30 - 10. Idaho State and Montana will compete with us in a rare scored dual meet indoors. This will be very competitive. Bobcats Ellie Rudy and Nick Atwood were named BSC athletes of the week for last week. Ellie has been so honored 22 times, seven more than anyone in the history of the conference.

That is just an amazing accomplishment by Rudy!! And to think that she is only a junior and will most likely just continue adding on to her accomplishments.

Montana State track and field athletes Ellie Rudy (pole vault) and Nick Atwood (3000) were awarded Big Sky Conference Track and Field Athletes of the Week honors, the conference office announced Tuesday.
The award is Rudy’s 22nd BSC Field Athlete of the Week award, a Big Sky Conference record. She was chosen for reaching an NCAA provisional mark (12’11”) last week at the MSU Open in Bozeman. Rudy is the current NCAA indoor national champion in the event. This also marks the second time in her career she has achieved a provisional mark at the first meet of the season. Rudy, a junior, hails from Woodland Park, Colorado and majors in cellular biology.
Nick Atwood, a junior from Otis Orchards, Washington, ran a BSC qualifying mark in the men’s 3000, besting the field by over 20 seconds at 8:15.80 (altitude adjusted) to be awarded Co-Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. Atwood’s time currently leads all conference performances in the event. He is a geology major.
