Says that the women have a chance to go on a scoring run today. I think the 3 go-rounds are done today, then they go to the short (championship) go. You need to be in the top 12 through the three go rounds. My guess is you get more points in the short/championship go round toward the team total and if you win the short go, you're the national champion for that event. I can't tell who's made it or should make it to that go. It will be a shame if Erickson doesn't make it. He had a 4.1, 3.8 and 3.7 in steer wrestling, but broke the barrier on the 3.7, so that's a 13.7. Still could make it. He's considered by some as one of the best (top 15) bulldoggers in the world already.

It appears Ty didn't make the short go in steer wrestling, but did make it in team roping. Too bad.

He didn't and a 4.2 won it. Too bad is right. His worst time in three goes was 4.1. Unless he leaves school to dedicate all his time to rodeo, he should have another crack at it.

The men finished 6th and women 19th.
