So Duncan Hamilton finished in 4th place and Levi Taylor finished 7th. Outstanding performances!

As Victor Flores noted, Hamilton's time of 8 20.23 is within the World qualifying standard of 8 22.00. But he mentioned that he didn't advance to the world championships even though he beat the standard. How does that work? Is it just the top 3 places that are below the standard?

I believe each country can only send a maximum of 3 athletes per event, only if those athletes have met the qualifying standard.

His time from 10 jun 2022 would have got him 3rd.

Pretty damn hot yesterday, almost 90, definitely effected tactics & speed of the race.

Also amazing that only 4 college runners made it to the finals and 2 we're bobcats.
