Re: 2020 I T&F
We would have beat the griz with just one more 6th place finish or a 7th and an 8th. I think both teams expectations should be competing for podium finishes not 6th.

Bobcats have some Premium Performers this Spring
Grad transfer (and former griz) Carla Nocosia has set the new Bobcat school record in the triple jump. High jumper, and Bozeman High product, Lucy Corbett keeps getting better and better. High Jumper Noah Martin is back over 7 feet.
Bozeman High product, Duncan Hamilton's 3000 m steeplechase mark is currently the best in the NCAA West Region and sits in the Top 50 IN THE WORLD!!
400 meter hurdler and Wisconsin native, Drake Schneider's time last week was a new school record at 50.12. It puts him in the Top 10 of the NCAA West Region and in the TOP 25 IN THE WORLD!!!

Re: 2020-2021 T&F
Sorry for the lack of memory here but there was a super HJer from I think Helena. He was just a kid and doing close to 7 feet or more. Any news on him... May still be a high schooler.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: 2020-2021 T&F
I don't remember hearing about a Helena High Jumper. There very well could have been a good one recently. I believe Noah Martin is from Spokane area. He was over 7 foot in high school. At MSU, he dabbled in Decathalon for a few years. He put on muscle so it affected his HJ performance. I believe he's back focusing soley on HJ.
Current Montana high school top mark is 6'9" by Wyatt Duke of Bigfork. It is very early in their season.

Trey Tintinger might be the guy you were thinking of?

Re: 2020-2021 T&F
I believe Tintinger was supposed to be a senior last year but Covid cancelled the track season in Montana. He could have easily went anywhere in the country for track as he was a 4 time national champion in the high jump. I saw him clear 7 feet at an AAU track meet where he set the world record for his age group. As a junior, he had the 3rd best high school age high jump in the country at 7’ 10 3/4”. As a senior, he was the #2 recruit in the country for high jump with a high jump of 7’1”. The publication below had him going to Mt Sac JC.

I think he is at a prep school called the Spire Institute this year working on his grades. Incredible athlete, but may never get a chance at a D1 school for academic and off the field concerns. He was suspended for almost his whole sophomore year due to disciplinary actions.
