We will compete in a scored meet with UM and EWU. It's great to be outdoors. Next week we take a smaller team to Phoenix. The following week we go to California. We'll have Dan Johnson back, plus Patrick Casey, our freshman who redshirted indoors but ran a 4:08 mile. Our javelin throwers make us stronger outdoors as well.

With the snow and cold we've been training through, we probably won't be that sharp in this first meet. But some great things will happen nevertheless.

Was Dan hurt?

No, he had no eligibility left for indoor track, but had redshirted one outdoor season. So he's a fifth year senior outdoors, and a huge impact on our sprints and relays.

I don't know, except that John Laidet is interested in competing in the throws for us after Spring drills are over.
