New History Mural for track. There are two, each 4'x16'. They are in the halls outside the locker rooms. Track paid for this with 50-50 savings. These murals highlight the last decade of our sport here at MSU, featuring images of 107 All-BSC Athletes, and four BSC Championship teams.

Wow Mike that turned out even better than I expected. I think I see me! Great idea as we have had alot of success in the last decade and should be an awesome tool with recruiting. I'll have to swing by and see it in person asap.

Why on Earth were these hung in the South Locke Room Tunnel? Why didn't they get hung where the public could see and appreciate them?

That's a good point. We were just glad to get a space. Maybe this will start something that will spread around the Fieldhouse. Ours could be moved to a more public location. I don't think anyone realized how good it would turn out.

That looks real nice Coach! I see some familiar faces from your picture. Next time I'm in town, I'll have to swing by to see who else I recognize. Congratulations to you and all the coaches on a great decade! Thanks for all your hard work.

How'd the Plaza dedication go this weekend?

Jeff,

The ribbon cutting went well, not too long - pretty cold. I was selling 50-50, but I heard there were about 200 there. Fans seem to appreciate the effort and the sentiment behind it. As more bricks go in it's beginning to look like a winner. It's not just a track thing. I noticed Sonny Holland's brick in there.

Checked out the mural today. It looks great! But why it's in that tunnel mystifies me. Why wouldn't you be able to hang it somewhere that is dull and plain as sin....Like the west lobby of the Brick? Seems like a waste to hang a mural that nice in a tunnel where no one will ever see it.

The Mural looks amazing, well from what I have seen! I am wondering if you could post the video that is posted on my husbands facebook page? Then his family can view it on the website and actually see him! That would be great! Thanks again for all of your hard work! Go Bobcats :D !

I need to figure out how to do this, without someone having to belong to Facebook. Might start a Youtube site or something.

Sorry for the delay. I want to do this through our new athletic web site but I need a little help and help is recovering from the flu. I'll post when I get it done.

Thanks for your interest.

MSU Athletics will post a Youtube clip of the mural. The one I made is too long. So it's in the works.
