Dan Jackson from our very own Bozeman set the school record in the 5K in Pocatello with a 14:18 time, altitude adjusted to 13:59 which puts him at 6th in the nation. Congrats to Mr. Jackson!

This guy is tough. You don't break Shannon Butler's 21 year old school record without great drive. Butler was a two time NCAA Champ for MSU. Jackson is nationally ranked. Heather Haug is also running very well, qualified for USATF's in two events - mile and 3000. MSU distance running continues to make breakthroughs. If Heather were in uniform instead of redshirting she would have both school records. Next year. Asa Staven now has the best heptathlon score of 5691 in BSC history, taking Jeff Mohl's 3 week old school record. Don't miss our home scored meet with UM and Weber Friday .
