Bobcat Student-Athletes Compile a 3.22 GPA

Montana State student-athletes compiled a team average grade point average (GPA) of 3.22 during the fall semester, the 26th consecutive semester above a 3.0 according to the University's Athletic Academic Center.
Of MSU's 344 varsity student-athletes, 214 – or 62.2% – recorded a GPA of 3.0 or better, and 20 Bobcats landed on the President's List with a perfect 4.0 GPA, with 94 more earning mention on the Dean's List for the just-completed semester with marks of 3.50-3.99. Including those on the President's List, 51 recorded all A's and A-minuses.
In addition to the 26 consecutive semesters over 3.0, Bobcat teams have compiled 16 straight terms with a team average GPA of 3.15 or better. MSU's women's tennis team posted the best GPA of any squad with a 3.484 mark, but Nordic ski (3.482) and alpine ski (3.481) were close. Of MSU's 13 varsity squads, 11 posted composite GPAs of 3.0 or better.
