I believe for indoor track there is also some adjustment for different types of tracks, for instance banked tracks like MSU used to have before the new fieldhouse floor was put in.

Wow! I used to be able to run half a mile in under 4 minutes if that counts for anything.

It should also be noted that this is the best time in the NCAA so far this year.

No, the Brawl points are awarded based on which team places higher at the Indoor & Outdoor Conference Championships. MSU will be heavily favored to take all 4 points though.

Well, it certainly means you were much faster than me!

No conversion needed: Duncan just ran 3:59.64 indoors at Spokane, WA!

Bobcats were there for a Washington State invite. This facility is new. It will hold the US Indoor Championships later this spring.

Bobcats set facility records for:
- Women's High Jump: Lucy Corbett 5' 10 1/2" (new MSU school record)
- Men's Pole Vault: Colby Wilson 17' 4 1/2" (2nd all time MSU, new personal best by 1.5 foot)

Cats are looking TOUGH! One ranking entity had our men's team as #28 in the NATION!

I love it. Somebody posted in another thread about how good this year has been for MSU athletics, referencing football and basketball. But the track team is quietly putting together an even better season. I've said for years that even as much as we love football and basketball in Montana, our state is more relevant on a national level in track and field (and XC) than any other sport, although you could argue wrestling is up there. Hopefully more MSU fans take note of what's happening at MSU in track and field and get excited about it!

Yes indeed, track and field is a ton of fun to watch. MSU is hosting the Big Sky indoor championships later this month the same week that the basketball teams play the Griz in Missoula - get out there, check out Duncan Hamilton, and support the team if you can!

Love that Kendall Ford is giving love to other aspects of MSU athletics through NIL deals.
