2022 Volleyball Schedule

The whole schedule has been released by Coach Jones, but I wanted to comment on one specific item.
We were talking about how to get better competition to Bozeman and I brought up the basketball and volleyball tournaments of the past. I had no idea this was underway, but look who’s coming to town for volleyball? The PAC-12 Washington Huskies! And Boise St. as well. Leon Costello helped to make it happen, so maybe this model can come back to life. Volleyball is actually hosting two local tournaments this year.

MSU Sports Information wrote:MSU closes out its nonconference slate hosting the Bobcat Invitational Sept. 15-17 in Shroyer Gym. Competing in the tournament will be Washington, Boise State and North Texas. The Bobcats faced all three schools last fall, defeating BSU 3-1 and North Texas 3-2, before dropping a heartbreaking 3-2 decision to No.7-ranked Washington on Sept. 16 in Seattle.
