Friday night, Bobcat Volleyball started the season with a 3-0 sweep of Prairie View A&M in the 2025 EVEN Hotel Bobcat Invite. The ladies have South Dakota today and Oregon tomorrow. UO beat USD 3-1 yesterday.

We have a good mix of upper and lower classmen, and some first-year freshmen getting a lot of playing time. Can't wait to see how Kira Thomsen's sister, Afton, develops.

Tough 3-2 loss to a very good South Dakota team. We have a scrappy bunch of fighters.

The most entertaining part of the broadcast was Kira Thomsen schooling SACCAT at his first ever volleyball match.

Cats fall to the Ducks for the second day in a row. All in all, a good showing from a team with nearly half freshmen.

The Bobcats won in 5 sets over Maryland-Eastern Shore last night at the Gonzaga tournament. They play CS-Bakersfield today and then Gonzaga on Saturday. The Gonzaga match at 3 on Saturday is on ESPN+ although I'm guessing most of us will be busy with other things around that time...

Cats Volleyball is now 4-2 after winning the last 3 matches. They take on Oregon State tonight.
