Just moved this here since it's where the connections are supposed to happen.

At least one, me!!

Living in NE Phoenix, so we are fairly far apart.

Phoenix has a great Cat/Griz party spot, Duke's!

The owner is from Butte, so he puts on quite a saturday party for the big game.

Let me know if you need anything else.

I've moved to Tucson 4 years ago this month. How's the heat and humidity treating you right now since we're in monsoon season?

I used to live in NW part of Tucson and I recently moved to the SW part.

The Cat/griz party here in Tucson sucks when you compare it to the one in Scottsdale at Duke's. That one gets a huge turnout of Montanans and Cat/griz fans. I definitely recommend that get together. Get there early as the seats fill up fast.

Well that's really good to hear. My GF and I will most likely head on up. We both got our M.Ed's at MSU. Our best friends are now up in Flagstaff and one got his Ph. D there and the other got her M.Ed at MSU-B but worked at MSU for 4 years (she's still a Griz fan though because she grew up in Fizzoula). We were looking at flying allegient air up from Mesa to Missoula for the actual game, but the flight costs these days are driving us to look at this. One of my good friends, and former classmates in my M.Ed, works in the Alumni Office. She might be able to hook us up with some good MSU gear for the Cat/Griz party at Dukes!

The heat has been a bit tough to get used to. The humidity isn't much better. I grew up in Western Washington so I'm used to rain, but not this much all at once. We are living up in the Catalina Foothills and we really love it up there.

I absolutely love Flagstaff. I've been up there 4 times this summer already as the weather is perfect this time of year. My GF has been up there doing a medical/pharmacotherapy rotation so it's a free place for me to stay when I head up.

Does Flagstaff, in some ways, remind you of Bozeman at all? It reminds me a lot of Bozeman in so many ways.

Feel free to contact me at any time. Usually I roust up a few other MSU alums down here (Raytheon employees) and we head up to Duke's to take in the Cat/griz game. It's amazing when you see the turnout of MSU/um fans. It's just a great way to reunite yourself with many Montanans as well.

The heat is downright nasty but it's not as bad as the concrete jungle going on in Phoenix. The humidity will start letting down in the next month. When "winter" comes, you will be in heaven. Mid 40's at night and high 70's during the day and this will last for a good 5-6 months.

When it rains here, it flat out rains. I lived in Seattle for 5 years as well. What do you think of the lightning storms and the sunsets here? I've never seen anything more impressive in nature.

The Foothills are really nice. On some evenings after it rains in the Foothills, you will sometimes see 100's of tarantulas come out of nowhere and they will be moving across the road. I've only seen it once but it was pretty neat.

I built a home on the SW side near the Desert Museum. It's nice out here but I'd prefer the confines of where you're at but I need a few more years of saving before I elect to buy or build up there.

the lightning storms are great and the sunsets are just like the AZ flag which is awesome. Yeah I will say the rain coming down the roads throws me off a bit. I was driving up Swan the other day and actually had to pull over because my little dodge stratus just couldn't take it.

quick question for you...lifeloyalSIGmsu (which sig's...Sigma Nu, SAE, SigEp?)

I've been caught in some nasty storms and I've seen several drivers violate the Idiot Driver law that Tucson has. It's very common for drivers to just try and plow through a flood area and next thing you know they're a mile down the wash and not the road. I've never seen nastier rain storms until I moved here.

The Sig part is Sigma Chi.
