Newest little Bobcat

Post by SonomaCat » Sat Nov 29, 2008 2:01 am

I am very excited to introduce Kai Gerald Wong Bergum, the newest little Bobcat fan (I'm sure he'll have his own Bobcatnation.com username any day now). He was born November 26 at 7:22 pm, after 38 hours of labor (culminating with a c section).

I have a newfound respect for mothers that I couldn't have imagined before. Guys, I now totally understand why people say that we can never count our blessings enough for being given the easy jobs in the biological cycle as well as for finding women that are willing to do the hard work for us!

Both baby and mom are doing great.

CONGRATS to Kai, Mom, and even to you BAC!

P.S. And I'm certain you'll always remind him he was born on a day the Griz won a playoff game! He'll be so proud!

We're all here 'cause we ain't all there.

Congrats to you all! Thirty eight hours of labor followed by a c-section brings back very bad memories of my own similar experience. As Larry the Cable Guy says, "Going through all that labor and then having a c-section is like running a marathon and then finding out you could have taken a golf cart." I hope she's up and around soon and has lots of help!

Belated congratulations on the baby!!!!!! If it isn't too much problem can you call in a tab either at "Up Above" or "Down Below" and I will have a few cold ones on you next time I get to Winifred.

Good luck with the little one.
