I was wondering if there are any former Bobcat Football players hanging out here at Bobcat Nation.com.

I hear.
I haven't heard from many people on here. You keep in contact with any of the fellas from Minn?

The only players that I really ever speak to anymore are Shaun Ross, Jason Nicastro (I don't think you knew him) and Ryan Haught. Otherwise the only time I really talk to any of the other guys is if I run into them in Bozeman.

I played 1991-1994, grad of Bozeman SH '91, but grew up in Belt until Jr. year.

Curious when you played. I knew guys from 93-97 due to being HHD major. Do you know Chad Mayer? I know he's back in Bozeman along with JC Murray, Jason Hicks, Chris Ogle and James Hoskins. Just curious. Trying to figure out if I may have bumped into you while on campus.

I played from 91-95 and I am a season ticket holder along with my wife. We really look forward to the games, it is always nice to go back to Bozeman. This should be a great year for football. Last year I talked to Murray and Mayer, they do both live in Bozeman. Brian Pepper was back for a game, he always gets me laughing, it was good to see those guys.

groovy cat-

you were Brian's team mate, and i probably taped you in the training room. Give me a hint, I love a challenge. Big lineman like my hubby? what position did you play? I'm trying to think who was from helena, and all I can come up with is Chris Sobonya (sp?), Ryan Grovem (sp?) or Mike Gollaher? I heard Chris was like in Oklahoma, a gym owner. But don't know where the others ended up. Brian graduated with Pepper and Ogle.

groovy cat - well, if this is Ryan, i never taped you. Only met you once, I mostly taped big guys like : sims, guy, wade, kerry, Ogle and because God has a sense of humor Morgan Harris. It seemed like Morgan was around a lot. I didn't do a whole lot with football. Athletic training was just a minor. So Chad is doing well? Great guy!

Always curious to know who has kids, so when we visit it's nice to know that. Although our boy is turning 6, and daughter 2 1/2. Poor Brian, our Ben is going to be huge say the doctors and mom doesn't want him to play football. Heard everyone else is having little girls.

Did your wife goto MSU also? may be I know her.

My wife did go to MSU her name is Jennifer (Connor), she was on the dance squad, one of the two with red hair. We have been married now for 9 years and have two boys, ages 3 years and 6 months, and they keep us very busy.

okay, I now can remember your wife. Charity was my RA, and my friends mom Mary Kay Minor worked with the girls that cheered and danced at MSU. Sorry, don't really recall more than your name. I'm sure Brian does. Well, were always looking for play pals when we visit Bozo, let's him hang out with the guys, and gives me something to do as well.

enjoy the kids, there's nothing better in this world than munchkins!

Small world, Charity is our boys' Godmother, she and her husband are great friends of ours. She has a little boy who is 2, and they live here in Helena too. Nice chatting with you and I will certainly enjoy my little guys. You do the same cause they sure grow up fast.

Charity is a wonderful girl and would make both an excellent mother as well as Godmother. She was so sweet, and a ton of fun! Glad to know everything turned out well for her, she really made living in the dorms (93-94) bearable.

nice chatting with you also.

We'll be moving back to BOZO in about 3 years for Brian's PhD, unless he's able to get a full time position there in Helena with the Army. He currently is an environmental engineer, and slotted to go back to Iraq by mid-july out of Ft. Lewis, WA. he's been trying to get back to that Helena slot for a couple years now. We want to move home and raise the kids there.

All the best to you and your family!

Good luck to you and your family, and especially your husband when he goes to Iraq. I hope everything works out for you, and your family can get back to Montana. Make sure you look up my wife, Jenni, if you need a realtor for Helena, she works a ReMax.

Ryan-

I will definitely keep Jenni in mind if we get back to MT. I actually want to buy land and build, but I was looking at Missoula (boo hiss) Brian said he'll have to be dead before we raise our kids there. After another stint in the desert I'm sure even Missoula will look like heaven. For is special education really the only other job opportunities apart from Missoula are in Helena and Great Falls. Always looking for a nice piece of land. I'm sure she could find us something nice for about 300k, plus or minus.

thanks,

rebecca

Rebecca, if you are interested in some land near Helena, check out montanapropertysearch.com, it is really good for searching real estate opportunities and you can get in touch with Jenni. :D

Have a nice Day.

Hey Quast. What did you do, leave Glasgow in the middle of the night? Didn't even know you were moving until after you were gone. How's that cute little wife of yours?

Anyway, this is my first post and I hope you guys don't mind a former scout-teamer (as the user name suggests) intruding on a thread for real players. The remnants of a knee injury and several broken fingers still linger, so I guess maybe I earned it. Anyway I played with the likes of Kevin Donovan, Dan Mead and Toby Alt to name a few, and Cliff was our linebacker's coach at the time under Sonny Lubick. Anyone from the late-70's, early 80's out there?
